Postdoctoral Researcher in EU Energy Policy / Université de Lausanne

The Institute for Political Studies of the Social Sciences Faculty at the University of Lausanne  is recruting a postdoctoral SNF Researchers to join the research team of the project ‘Hybrid Infrastructure Policies for the 21st century : Towards Green and Digital Economy (HIP21)’, funded by the Swiss National Fund. The project analyzes the evolution of European Union energy/electricity and digital infrastructure policies. The selected candidate will be in charge of the EU energy/electricity policy.

Starting date : 01.01.26 or shortly thereafter

Contract length : 20 months (1 year contract, renewable for 8 months, possibly renewable a second time for up to 27 months maximum in total)

Employment rate : 70%

Working place : Lausanne-Dorigny, Gepolis (part time homeworking is possible)

The selected candidate will take part in the above-mentioned research project and contribute to its implementation in the field of energy and electricity policy. His·her main responsibilities will include conducting qualitative data collection through document analysis and interviews. The candidate will also play an active role in the analysis and dissemination of findings, including the publication of results in academic journals and other scientific outlets.
